On the 1st downhill I come flying past him and his pinarello reaching a speed of 74.9km/h and looks at the bike, then and at me and says: the bike is quite fast! And I am on 38mm gravel tyres.???????? Only negative is with the 13/29 cassette I start spinning out from 50km/h and bike is slower on hills because of extra weight of bike and tyres.
Mongoose! Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 I am back on 2,25 tyres on my monster bike. (Small block / almost slick). The higher volume tyre give me more comfortable ride. And a lekker workout on tar. Was quite a bargain at R156 per tyreChainreactioncycles). But customs and DHL increased the price per tyre a bit. Sealed easily tubeless with hand pump
