my rear brake mount wobbles appears there is no threading left on the frames mount

is it possible to re-thread it at all?

It might be possible to use an insert  - go and visit Droo - it's not an amateur fix.

Which frame? Which of the 2 holes? A nut and bolt is not ideal but its the quickest and cheapest solution provided it doesn't cause clearance issues with the actual disc.

You will get better suggestions if you post pics of the actual problem.

If there are two holes the solution can be easy, depending how much "meat" is around the holes.

If there is enough meat, buy M5 rivnuts (the same things used to mount your bottle cage to your frame), drill the hole out to the correct outside diameter of the rifnut and install the rifnut (most machine shops can assist with this)

edit: not sure what thead you use. it is either M5 or M6. thumsucking here until you can give us more info

Or I am being daft:

Your brake mount is the threaded part. The holes in the frame is not threaded:

If your brake mount's thread is stripped, just buy a new mount:

They are usually not that expensive. Won't break the bank

There is a difference between post mount and IS mount. Think the OP has a post mount.

Depends on if the frame is a Post-mount standard frame or an IS-standard frame as in your pic. From the OP's description sounds like a Post-mount frame. If so I vote for the helicoil route

I fully agree with the helicoil route then

bolts screw in and cant pull out but not enough threading to keep them tight
