'Best Bikes' have opened where Cyclefunatic used to be...selling umm Treks. Smaller shop, no advertising or marketing I can find...even on Trek's SA website where Cyclefunatic is still listed...

Hi Guys,

 

Its a new, full on TREK dealership that opened at the old location where Cyclefunatic was. The store is called BestBikes. New owners, staff, everything. The store will only stock TREK bikes, mountain and road as well as a full range of Bontrager apparel. The store and workshop is open for trade, although the official launch with marketing and advertising will only be done in October.

This is great news, Durbanville needs a good local bike shop.

 

The previous guys at Giant was a friendly bunch, I always joked and said they are going to convert met to the brand, as they gained trust, they all just disappeared along with the vibe.

 

Will check out the new shop, hope there is a lekka vibe.

i'm on the edge of having to rant about the delivery time about my new bike, though.  probably not their fault, so I'm still holding my breath (and a little patience) of having my bike in time for the one tonner.
