Agreeed!! same here, sometimes the peace and quiet is better when alone, and I also ride alot slower

and when you ride slower you notice more features and hit the lines a bit better, so it often ends up being more fun than a full on STRAAAAAVAAAA run.

Dudes...there is some seriously cool stuff in lower Majik at the moment. We spent about 30min the other night just sessioning one small drop into three nice tight berms...I'd never found a BERM to be fun like that before! :)

Well to take the topic (even temporarily) back on track.

I really hope people from the committee of the club have taken note that it's not just us "pinners" (4k I hate that term) who are capable an keen on more technical trails.

So that any upgrades/rehab in future can at least address some of this. Maybe there'll even be an up to spec XC loop sometime

Is that the bit just as you are entering the actual forest section? was there a while back and also found it very lekker.

Ye, there and thereabouts.

Actually from the trig beacon all the way down there is some fast, tight, loose, rooty, jumpy stuff.

People tend generally only to ride it on their way back to the carpark...so a bit of a hidden gem :)

And there are some properly gnarly jumps if you have the steel bits between yo legs to attempt em...still getting there for two sections.

Righto... for the second time in a thread. I'm off to ride the joint again and see If I can make friends with the endless ups before undoing all the good work with happy hour craft beer and burgers at hooters Hudsons.
