My team mate and I are in the same boat on our first W2W adventure

We just going flat out in the meantime

Two road rides in the week and two long trails on the weekend.

Watt bike sessions in between

Keen for a good day riding and some beers and stories in the evening

I am in the same boat. Im the fittest i have been in years (dont read that i am fit) but the weight has not dropped. I was hoping to be at least 10 kilos lighter at this time but yeah life happens.

We did apple blossom 60km event yesterday and i was dead. (we finished in the bottom 10 of the day) My partner had to push me from the halfway mark. (good training for him  ) but yeah we going out to enjoy ourselves....i just need to drop a few KGs in the next 4.5weeks to ensure i can climb a bit better.

Might have to lay of the booze for a while but we will see if that happens. Also entered the Gun Run 10km in 2 weeks time, never ever ran over 5kms so maybe ill try and get some running sessions in the next week or so.

I also battle with the weight part...........106kg of pure muscle.........so we(me and you) will spend the the days closing the gates at the W2W !!! My partner can ride with your partner for some chit chat.............. :whistling:

Cut out:

1. alcohol,

2. sugar,

3. fizzy drinks,

4. fast food,

5. beer,

6. "treats",

7. excuses.

Some are repeats for emphasis. Then start riding your bike on water when you train and eat proper food on your bike. Once the excuses are gone the weight will vanish and fitness will arrive...
