Agreed, he is still better than "dancing on the pedals of your machine" Phil, but still terrible to worry about.

With the way sports is not too kind to pros put out to pasture, surely it's time to introduce more ex pros to the commentating, and young ex pros at that please. I love the insights and thought processes they introduce instead of the nonsense by these older professional commentators.

But the half hourly complaint about accommodation and good is shocking. Not profession at all. I'm impressed with however well Dan handles him and feel for him constantly.

We also have Carlton and Dan, I dont mind them, better than the two P's anyway, by a long margin.

Carlton is okay, he babbles on but he comes up with some pearler's, I often chuckle at him, but to be honest the riding has been so boring they have absolutely nothing to commentate on except the quality of the espresso's and the pastries.

Aw

What was that Bahrain rider pulling the Sky rider thing all about?

Yes I saw that. Moreno was the rider doing the pulling around. Be surprised if he starts tomorrow.

Didn't know it was Moreno but it will be a bit of a blow to Nibali if they pull him, he is a good rider.

First grabbed him from behind

Then delivered a good verbal barrage

Then shoved him sideways

Haven't heard a thing yet ????????

Quite a charge there from the rule book ????

Moreno crossed the line 72nd, but was later disqualified by the race jury for “acts of violence,” and fined 200CHF, citing article 12.1.040.30 in the UCI rulebook.

Boom

There ya go

Pity

Blemish for the sport

It's got enough negative drama already

Fine to racially abuse another rider but don't touch a guy.  Race on for racism, kicked off for a shove. Something wrong with the punishments.

Of course I won't say what team the perp of the racism was on or who the victim of the push rides for.

There was no team car around to hang onto, so hung onto the next best thing after a moto, a sky rider.

Then to thank him for the pull up the hill he high fived him into the spectators.

Yip

Two different race organizers?

That often also influence disciplinary outcomes

Of all the incidents you could compare this too, you pick the one that involves Sky.

Your obsessive hatred for one team must really be a burden.

How do you turn everything into a Sky bash? It's actually impressive.

Who abused who? And who pushed who?

The abuser was allowed to race on. Not my fault he was a Sky racist. I would have made the same point had he been from any other team.

Racism is a worse "crime" than pushing a guy, in my view.

Any other incidents you would prefer to compare where one guy is allowed to race on and one is not?

Edit: is not not in not

I don't see what the racial abuse issue has to do with this incident at all. Simple question. Are you allowed to push or shove another rider? Simple answer is no, because it's bloody stupid and dangerous. Did such an incident occur? Yes. I even saw it on TV. Is it an offense that results in disqualification? Yes. Off you go pal. Just for being that dumb you deserve to be sent packing. Ill tempered little brat. If I was his DS I would have his guts for garters.

Please note that no where in this argument do you need to consider another incident from another race involving a totally different offense. i.e racial abuse.

I feel much better now. Thanks.
