Hi all

I've been searching around for a used dual suspension mtb. I usually get a good a idea of what a bike is worth by looking at similar bikes as advertised regularly in the classifieds. I came across a person who is looking to sell his 2013 Cannondale Scalpel 29er 4, but I'm struggling to find pricing for the pre-mentioned. Majority of the Cannondale's for sale are carbon, or later models. Don't think the guy is sure as well how much the bike is worth, as he has done less than 500km on the bike (not an avid mtb-er). Here are the specs:

I have included a link below with the specs (although the shifters are Deore, not SLX as in the specs in the link):

Kind regards

hmmm, was not aware there was a 4, thought the 3 was the lowest spec version.

Great frame and lefty, can be nicely upgraded if the buy price is right.

Thanks! Think that is why I'm struggling to get a pricing (on bicycling.co.za I also found the Scalpel 3 as the lowest spec available). This one also doesn't have the Lefty fork (Rockshox Recon Gold)

Might be idea to email Cycle Lab, and ask if they know the specs.

The local agents are Omnico but doubt you will get anything from them.

I knew all scalpels to be lefty based, don't recognize the black either.

curious now...

My guestimate

R10k.......Bargain

R15k.......mmmmm

R20k....maybe think about it.....but maybe not.

Save some more and you'll get for around R30k something much lighter!
