Looks like SA has a very courteous and hospitable community and I hope to meet you guys when I get down. If you think of any more tips feel free to send them my way! I may PM a few of you for specifics per your comments. Thanks for the info on trails and some local surf spots. I am getting super pumped for this move. Should be an amazing adventure.

A couple times in Central America (Costa Rica, Nicaragua) and a couple times stateside. I had a buddy move to JBay for a couple years, few years back, and he rips now. Last time I surfed in Nica I got in over my head, literally, out there like a total kook. Double over head and a real quick beach break. Looking forward to a new challenge!

Better off spending the time learning about Rugby and Cricket or getting cray fishing, her cracking n' braai starting (hint, get old vines as your wood and watch as the local braai masters give you the nod of respect).
