Hi there boys and girls

I recently bought this bike.  I can find no info on this brand besides that its a SA brand.  Unfortunately cant ride the bike as im to short.  With the bike between my legs i cant even stand flat on my foot.  That while not even being on the seat lol.

Really sad that i have to swop or sell.  I haven't owned a bike since childhood and always wanted to get into riding.

Can anybody give me more specs on them.  What would be a fair trade for it for another bike.  Or fair price at selling it.

Pics wont upload.  I can whatsap to somone or if you want you can request pics 0723946888

I dont see no model number on the bike.

Thanks

Just a heads up. Your feet shouldn't be able to touch the ground when sitting on the seat.

I have heard of the brand, but don't know much of it. It looks like it could be classified a classic and could have some value.

What number is on the seat tube below the top tube? It looks like a Reynolds decal which denotes which steel was used to make frame. Pics from other side would help to determine groupset.

I had a Cosmos way back in 1980's. It was the same as the Zini models.(I think they were built by Gotti Hansen) It all depends what your frame tubing was made of.  The reynolds sticker on the seat tube will give an indication of what kind of frame you have (525,531 nice racing frames, 501 entry level), and the value of the frame. Then check groupset and in what condition it is in. These old bikes it is all about condition and how well it was kept.

Hope it helps.

The groupset is the gears, brakes, brake levers. The name of the groupset and how many cogs it have at the back indicates the speed. 8 = speed, 9=speed.

The bikes were manufactured in Vereeniging/vd Bijl. I know they were made in a factory owned by the Immelmann family at one stage.

I have one in the exact same colours
