Bike looks stunning!!!

Where did you get the frame?

Ive got a hardtail with 1*11 XTR and Carbon hoops on hope pro4 hubs but I am looking at getting a dual sus. I just need the frame as Id like to build my parts over.

Thanks!

I got it from Specialized. The store in Durbanville.

Like riding trails more than marathon. They give heaps of grip. Also like the 2.3 width. Ground control only comes in 2.1.

Ardent Race in 2.35" would've been perfect for that Epic of yours. Keep it mind when the time comes for new rubber.

Plus don't luke the yellow lettering plus Spez tyres prices are unbeatable.

GC does come in 2.3. I have them on my bike. Nice build BTW.

Bought them in a Spez store last year. Ballito and Waterfall. Got a spare or two lying in storage as well. Price was good at the time. Was eyeballing some in LBS in PMB just recently. The Spez SA website lists GC2.3 in 29er in both Control and Grid casings. What's the problem? No stock?

How did you get tyres the dealer does not know about? Grey importing :P

I've been running 2.3 GC for the past 2 years. Purchased at Spez concept store Ballito.

New dual compound GC GRID looks very decent!

I was going with Pista assumption that GOB works at a Spez dealership :D

I also have GC in 2.3.

You do get GC in 2.3 - my wife has one on the front of her Camber.

But I do prefer your tyre choice.

Dint think those are the proper Snakeskin type, they sell for close to 1k. All Spez tyres are R565 fir Control and Grid about R100 more. But Control ones are for me anyway a nice balance between weight and durability on trails.
