3T Aeronova

Having sold my road bike, I am looking at starting to buy parts for a future road bike????

Concerning handle bars, I prefer an aero bar. Had a Zipp on my Look, but thinking maybe something else?

The 3T aeronova bar looks stunning. Are there any hubbers who have experience in using it? How is the comfort/stiffness? The reach seems to be a bit longer: do you use a shorter stem?

PS I know that there are fakes of these, not looking at buying one of those

Other suggestions also welcome

Huge fan of 3T. They manufacture a quality product.

These sure are stunning however I prefer the Ergonova

I have this exact bar on my Cervelo and love it. Have had some big crashes over the years and it's still rock solid.

Some info if needed: Height 188cm, Inseam 92cm, Frame 2012 S5 58cm, stem 110cm.

if you can find a aeronova locally... I was scouring the earth looking for one and no one could help... had to buy a Zipp SL70Aero - still love it.

Have not looked locally. Chainreaction sells them.......

Yeah... I don't really import myself... too scarred of the possibility of additional costs etc.

Locally the LBS don't seem to know who supplies 3T...

Scary thing is... it is a lot of different ones here in Gauteng including one which has a glass case full of 3T stuff...

or you get the "....mmmmm we can maybe try and order it blah blah blah" and then they never get back to you - but then you hear how bad business is...

Message Nsquared directly on FB or drop them an email. I just did to confirm they are the distributors and I received a prompted reply with them asking how they can help.

Just had another message from them saying If you need anything please feel free contact them.

They are a really good company to deal with, I used to work in a LBS.

I personally do not like these shaped handle bars as I struggle to fit my light on for morning rides and always have to make a plan.

Have a look at the Deda bars as well
