Lido loop - nails .....

Perhaps just a co-incidence but my boet and I on our ride from Brackendowns out to the Lido and back both had a puncture  in the area near the garage at Kibler park.

In both cases a short nail was the culprit, so for those who ride there just be careful!

Jow Low mentioned that to me the other day!! He said they were shiny new ones so someone is doing this intentionally!!

I got that distinct impression as well! We riding in the dark at 5am so couldn't really look around what was going on.

We going out again tomorrow morning but not that route, don't feel like fixing punctures in the dark again!

Have to get in as much riding as possible before my op next week Cry

MuxMan: I surprised you can manage to say two words with your finger so far up your nose, but I guess that practice makes perfect....

PS: I'll change my avatar just as soon as la stops calling me a troll...

I refuse to jackoff on the Hub, that will REALLY get me into the Winnie and banned for a long long time....

Plus you will dirty your screen.

As for the nails in the road there were a few guys on Sunday who also punctured

Nothing like getting nailed just when you put the hammer down

Where about exactly is that, I dont cycle there often but I cant place the garage.

If I come down Swartkoppies, turn left onto a small side road (dont know name) it takes me past the Lido on my right, I then turn left onto a crazy road (dont know name) which eventually pops out at the Nampack factory.

Anywhere there?? - I cant recall a garage?

I think its the one off the road on the right as you head west (from Alberton) along Swartkoppies.

I ride the route quite regular but have not had any incidents.
