To respray or not to respray? Bike rental?

If you do go the respraying route then there's only one way to go as mentioned above... Bogus.

Make peace with the fact that you'll be bikeless for a while... chat to your Spez dealer you got the Camber from, maybe they'll be able to help you out with Testers for a couple days while yours is getting a makeover.

BUT NB!!! as mentioned... check up on how a respray will affect your warranty!

Good name, Mainly because I share it with you.

 

To possibly save you from sending the bike to the cape, you can maybe give PG carbon a call. 

 

They based in Benoni and from what I have seen, there work looks amazing. They also work a lot with the insurance companies to repair and re-paint bikes.

 

I have a white Merida Scultura 4000 and have been debating the idea of changing its colour as well.

Don't do it, you'll lose the warranty and insurance will only pay out for accident damage or theft. If the frame cracks because of a manufacturing fault, insurance won't pay.
