We're not interested in what you're doing on the toilet. This is a family site you know................

Hehe

I read tird as third with an Irish accent...

Btw to make my 365 quest a bit easier I’m starting a new activity this week.....hopefully it’s supported on strava. The last time I tried it my legs were stiff as hell...

Cycling?

Umm ???? look ???? I know I don’t cycle as much as you... but I’m not exactly new to cycling....

Tonight will reveal all if the rain stays away, not safe to do this activity in the wet ????

Wife wasn’t at home yesterday evening, so I rushed a quick trot after I tucked the kids into bed, for some reason, moving time is 40s short of elapsed time (and 18s short of 20min), I’m claiming it though. On my way out the door now for a long (by my standards) ride, will make up for the few seconds... [emoji15]

The end of another week, I'm sitting on tree tousand, tree hundred and tirty four kilometers - 1Km ahead of perfect trees.

At the start of the year, I set a goal of 6000Km (cycling) and 750Km (running). The 750Km running goal was based on 15Km per week for 50 weeks (allowing a 2 week buffer), considering a zero base prior to mid-December. The riding would be based on 1x 100Km ride per week and the balance made up of coffee rides and IDT workouts. Seems I'm only 600Km shy of my best (GPS recorded) YTD total, so if all goes well I'll be on 8000Km riding for the year and about 800Km of running.

It's great just riding, and not having to train - running, though, is hard work but fun too.

When i started the year and challenge my goal was just to keep fit and have fun without worrying about to much serious  training... somehow i got entered into a 86 km / 3000m ascent mtb marathon in the swiss alps on 9 September... going to have to up the distance and hill work this summer

Had to do 20 on the IDT with a headache and 3 fresh stitches

This is what happens when you skate / fall without a helmut and only have 14 minutes of activity

Ag shame hey

My activity for last week was pitiful!  Between moving into a new warehouse, sick kids and some other work commitments, I had to squeeze in 20 min power walks in the late evenings.  All done though, this week should be better, I need to ride my bicycle, having withdrawal symptoms.

On a positive note, saw the doc last week for my annual insurance medical, nice to get positive feedback about your general fitness and state of health from the doc.  Goes to show, consistent, regular exercise leads to positive results!
