I've always leaned heavily towards function over form and I have to say I seriously intend putting a stylish saddle bag on my road bike when I eventually get it. I can't see any good reason why one shouldn't use one. Most anti-SB arguments revolve around the spoiling of the bike's lines but frankly, and I am aware that this might be heresy and have me excommunicated from the peleton of slow that I inhabit, I just don't get it.
