Desi Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 Driving home to Cape Town yesterday, we took the 'back road' from Worcester towards Rawsonville. Along this route, there is a 4-way stop (next to a township). When we stopped, two scumbags sitting at the side of the road jumped up and tried to grab a bike off the bike rack. Luckily I saw them, and shouted at my husband to drive (he was watching traffic, not the back of the car)! Also luckily, the bikes are well secured with the Thule bars and wheel straps, plus extra strapping, plus a cable and padlock. If the bike was not well secured, and given a few seconds more, I would have lost my bike, because we certainly wouldn't follow them into the township, which I am sure they know.
