This was Raleigh's top model when they were still operational in SA.

Sold with Zipp 404 if I remember correctly.

Not too sure about 2013 - suspect it was a little before that. (apologies if I'm wrong)

That said, DA7800 has stood the test of time in many cases.

Yip definitely not 2013

Close to 2011

It was a PRO bike used here in SA

If it's your size and in good nick - yes ????????

Definitely earlier than 2013 and more like 2008-9, as I was racing with a mate (1Hill@time) who still has his.

I think you should am for a size M or 54. I am 1.82 and I can ride a 54 or 56 . I fit in the in between sizes. Rather go for a bike fit or measurement before buying a bike.

This was my dream bike back in the day but there is still something about this bike that makes me wonder.

I'm +-175 and generally between S/M:52/54.

That said, height isn't the only factor.

But 56 sounds like it may be a bit big.

I'd consider myself very lucky to get that for my DA7800 Scott CR1 of similar age.

Rather end this dream now, than live with the nightmare later. LOL

Plenty good bikes going around.

These frames had longer than usual top tubes. If the frame is marked 56, it will be way too big for you.

There was some confusion with the sizing on these frames. Mine is marked size 54 large, others were marked size 54 medium. Even so, my frame has a 57 top tube, which is more consistent with a large frame.

A 56 will probably have a 59cm top tube which is massive for a guy of your size.

All the best.

Fortunately, the road bike market is massive here in Hubland
