It would blow my mind if equipment sponsors forced something on him he was 100% on board with/suggested in the first place.

Same with long hair or unshaved legs..just do the job on the bike no matter what the bike looks like.. Hell GVA was rocking a gold frame after his Rio win. The gold wheels are going to class with his frame though lol

Anyways, back to the race. All my mates that I met on the Giro are from Oz, and they keep sending me pics. Massive fomo. Still looks too ostentatious for my liking, whoever is riding it. But you are correct, as long as the beast gets the job done, I guess he can do whatever he pleases. Would be a shame if he accumulated zero wins in 2017 :3
