Anybody that wants to call a ride can use this thread to do it in, that way we do not have a dozen threads floating around. First ride, this coming Saturday 21/01/2017.Starting point @ Virgin Active Greenpoint parking area. Starting time 06h30Route will be a deviation for the first part to avoid the section out of bounds on non CTCT days, but will link up with route at "Toad in the Road" pub on M4/Main Road (close to foot of Boyes Drive.) Wannabe Posted January 30, 2017 Author Posted January 30, 2017 OK, this ride was a bust as far as bikehub participation / attendance was concerned. Only the chaps on my whats app group arrived. As a result, this was the last ride I called on this thread, from now on it will only be on the whats-app group. Be it as it may, we were 11 guys who tackled the beautiful, fresh and wind still morning.Ride was brilliant, except for one moron in his dilapidated Corolla who buzzed us just before Kalkbay.Rest of ride was completed without incident, and we bagged a 118km at an avg of around 28km/h.
