WHY ( hub related)

Why has everyone all of a sudden become report happy.  Yes maybe we are labouring an issue, but to report every issue because you feel offended is laughable to say the least.

 

And it is not the old school hubbers, it is the new ones with nearly no posts or less than 500 posts.

 

Much of it is said tongue in cheek, now people feel offended to report me. BigH and I had a "hub Conversation"earlier today, I would like to know what was so offensive about it but the whole conversation has been marked waiting approval.

 

What has become of the Hub, has it now become a reporters dream, just because you feel that you must be the "watcher of the hub"

 

Will the person who reported me please tell me why you did it, what did you find offensive, or is it my whole attitude would really love to know

As one of the oldest hubbers, I have noticed many trends on the hub.  Having the long view on these some interesting "trends" are out there.

Joburgers complain about the same things, crime motorists

PTA hubbers defend Afrikaans

Cape hubbers don't think further than Cape Town

THere is a strong "christain" lobby

THere are hubbers in open plan offices

i have been wondering the same, but it's like the rivonia babe phase it will blow over and they will get bored, and we will get our hub back, don't let it scare the regulars off, just sit back and watch them fade.

Sammajoor what you have to realize is that The Hub for some people is everything their lives revolve around. It is a place for them to get out all their self rightoues goodie 2 shoes viewpoints that otherwise are not tolerated in the workplace or in society in general without someone telling them to F off.

 

There have been some meaningful studies recently on how people actually cannot communicate with each other unless they are typing on a keyboard and certainly here you have a few good examples.

 

So what if you get reported why be bothered, it's not like you are going to receive a prison sentence, you may get banned or loose your username or your amount of posts - who cares.

 

Now I really am going to lodge a grievance against Tom because he did not say good morning to me again this morning - twice in 1 week is just unacceptable.
