Hi guys, please weigh in..I'm trying to decide between the following..

2017 GT Zaskar comp - vs 2017 Specialized rockhopper expert - vs 2016 Rocky Mountain Trailhead 950

The GT and Specialized are similar in price 16k & Rocky Mountain about 11k any advice welcome.

Personally I would go with the GT. It is the only one with a Rockshox fork and 11 speed. Not that Manitou is bad fork it just isn't readily supported in SA. 11 speed is handy especially if u decide to go 1 by later.

The head angle on the GT is nice and slack while the seat angle is still pretty steep giving a good seated pedalling platform. Should be an nice handling bike. The Rockhopper has a pretty steep head angle and slack seat angle so I am not sure how well it handles. I had an older Zaskar and it was a fantastic climber. There has been some criticism on here about the service from the local distributor but I had really good service when i needed to do a warranty claim. They are all good bikes and you should be happy with any of them.

Thanks Omumborombonga, I was leaning towards the GT but I think that's clinched it for me. Much appreciated mate!

Bestest advice I've seen for a while.
