Rear brake disc ROTOR spacer (not caliper)

After months of procrastinating, and being frustrated by lack of FatBike finesse in SA, I finally have my FRM/Maxxis fat wheels sorted and ready to fit with 180mm IceTec rotors. Front wheel goes in perfect, the rear wheel fits great except for the brake disc which is about 5mm too far in, in the direction of the centre-line of the hub.

Before I go and have a spacer laser cut and use longer bolts, does anyone know where I can get a spacer like the below link shows (or who the ProblemSolver agents are in SA)?

Thanks in advance.

Do you need to space it?

Is it not just a case of loosening the caliper bolts then putting the wheel in, pulling the rear brake level to centre is and then tightening them again?

That is assuming the clearance isnt too far out.

I wish, the difference is about 9mm, measured with my eye, so unfortunately out of the range of adjustment from the slotted holes in the adaptor.

So, here is the biggest part of my problem: Shimano's IceTech rotors have a lip machined into the surface that mounts against the hub, and this lip is 2.5mm deep.

After taking advice from all angles, I've decided to order the Hope spacers, and will have enough "adjustment" to get the disc running correctly in the caliper, with the slotted caliper mounting holes centred for future adjustability as well.

What a saga this has been! I just wanna riiiiide now :(
