Any specific coil I need that will fit on a 2013 marzocchi rocco world cup?currently have a 350 that's way to heavy, was told to get a 280 or 300,coil is foxshox 350x-3.25

Not sure how coil business works

And what's compatible

if it's currently a fox, you should be able to use a fox again. The measurement would be 300x3.25 or 280x3.25. You may be able to find one for the Roco on CRC.

I don't think that's right. Eye to Eye is 216 on that shock

So he put the wrong size?

dunno, but not necessarily. As long as it fits on the shock body, the coil has the required stroke (3.5" in this case, which is higher than any 216mm e2e shock you get) then it'll work. If it's slightly too long for the shock body, and it's been compressed to fit in there, then it'll have some pre-load on it already which means you'll need to have a bigger hit to get it to move.

But - going on your size, a 350 spring is most likely too heavy for you anyway.

cough cough ride a medium large...

ya pottie told me i was to light for a 350,the bike doesn't eat the ruts like my shova with a 300 and with less travel

The big number is the amount of force (in lbs) required to compress the spring by 1 inch.

The bigger the number the stiffer the spring.

The second number is the amount the spring can compress (in inches) before it binds (i.e. the coils of the spring start to touch).

So,if your shocks stroke is say 2.5" you can run a spring with 2.5" or more travel, but you may run into issues with the overall length of the spring (which it sounds like you're currently experiencing).

More detailed info at TF Tuned

Chain reaction normally has steel springs at a good price.

I'd also suggest you burn some bandwidth watching andrextr videos on Youtube regarding suspension and suspension setup. There is some good info there.
