Nothing wrong with Avids

Service them and set them up properly

Smooth transition when braking not like others that brake suddenly

You can service Avids not Shimano

Have had Avids for years and will have for years.

What I love is when guys UPGRADE and then sell their Avids but want a fortune for that junk which they are now passing on - surely they should give them away or not even as Avids are just plain dangerous.

Hahaha. In fact you should be paid for removing hazardous materials!

Thanks for all the input. Gonna change the pads and put bigger rotors on (quick fix I hope)

Cheaper than getting new brakes. Will save for those SLX 7000 now.

If the OP doesn't then you may.

All good. Thanks for the offer but I am going to stick with the avid's for now. Go for it Robert.
