Sani2C Commuting Challenge

Bad luck Hopefully you can play catch up.

 

I also didn't have a great start to my challenge. I got to the office (fortunately) and saw a nice big thorn in my tyre. I should've left it, but the urge to pull it out overcame me. Stan decided not to do his job. I only had one bomb and no pump. So I used the bomb and when I took the adaptor off the valve, I took the valve with it (removable core). Fortunately Morningside cycles is only about 500m from my office, so I went over there and they quickly topped up my sealant and inflated my tyre for me. I bought a tube to carry home while I was at it (just in case). So I'm good to go again this afternoon. 

 

Best I top up the sealant in the rear wheel tonight!

So I joined, but not sure what I have done wrong in linking my Fitbit to it.

Fitbit recorded my ride and it also synced to Strava and Discovery, but it seems to have only synced my steps to Endomondo.

 

Have you tried syncing your accounts using Tapiriik?

Just tried connecting them via there now, will give it some time and check again later.

At around 30 km, Nancy and I should be going over the floating bridge on our commute this afternoon

Well I am not commuting but I can assure you we are also almost floating here.  It is pouring at the moment.

Woke up with an eye that is pretty much swollen shut.  Not sure what the cause is but seeing a doctor first thing in the morning.  This is then it for the commute for the day and knocks me out of the a chance to complete the challange.  Maybe I would still be able to commute the

remaining three days

So frustrated! Last night endomondo did not start and I missed 25km. This morning it only registered 11km. At least you helped me out of my laziness and I am commuting more than my usual 14km per trip.

Nancy and I arrived at Mackenzie club somewhere towards the end of this morning's commute. Will be heading out towards Nicks pass this afternoon.

 

It was very dark last night due to cloud cover - hope the weather clears up so that we can make use of the almost-full moon tonight.

and I get grumpy when I've forgotten to press start at a traffic light and miss out on 400m

Haven't come right yet.

Steps are syncing without an issue, but it doesn't seem to have reflected any rides yet.

Guess I'll just give it some more time.

Just reached the first waterpoint of day 2 after tonight's commute.

 

Tomorrow the hard work starts - we've commuted these silly distances back to back, but never 3 days in a row.
