You do realise you're going to have to do something about the decals on the rims, right?

Have changed the stem to 6* rise 70 mm raceface stem from the Thompson 50 with 0* rise,as was getting a pain between my shoulders and neck on Saturday.

The tallboy was an xl so this large is slightly smaller. Test the stem this morning and seems to have worked . As for the rear suspension now that I have played a bit,it's tracks unbelievably well in the rock climbs . So much so that I can feel it grip and squatting when it needs to. Pretty special.

Something else i wanted to mention. It's feels like a 26", can't believe it's a 9r. You feel like you riding slowly but in reality it's the opposite.Not sure if this is because the tb is a big bike or it's an xl frame. Or it's a longer bike . But the tb has a bulldozer kinda ride and the stumpy is playful and needs to steered round things .

So is it a plunker..not all ????????

yeah. Camber = 110mm. Stumpy = 140mm

Camber = heavy hitting XC bike

Stumpy = Heavy hitting trail bike

For Joe Average, the Stumpy fits the bill. You need to be VERY good on a bike to be able to do the things on a Camber, that are a piece of pie on the Stumpy. IE the stumpy would have a larger margin of error with a very small sacrifice ito efficiency and climbing capability.

camber is 120mm front and rear since 2016 M/Y.

29er = 120mm front and rear

650B = 130mm front and rear

100% CORRECT but, as far as i know, there are NO 650B Cambers in SA (officially).

Mate of mine looked for one high and low but no luck (this was end-2015/6).

Enjoy it, that's an awesome bike.

It represents the flagship of the entire Spez MTB range, not the Epic.

SA is naainer country.

Don't have numbers, but sure Santa Cruz XL would be close to your Stumpy L in sizing.  Santa Cruz notoriously small.

Also, be ready to see bike brands drop 650b like it's a bad habit in the next two years.

Meant colour coding.  S-Works demands matchy-matchy!

Yip.

Pikey, next stop is the closest Concept Store for matching bib, shorts, jersey, gloves, socks, helmet, SWAT bag. After that, quickly pop by Fruit 'n Veg for a banana for your SWAT box.
