Stoke

Williams Bike Shop

Wanted to suggest Will myself. Incredible conversationalist also. A lot of times I go into his shop for something quick and then only leaves 20 minutes later.

3 Days - damn, takes like 30 min or so.

However give Andrew at Stoke a shout.

how much does it cost to have it built and trued?

Getting some new rims laced by 'droo / Stoke at the moment and know I'll have peace of mind given his attention to deets, his work, I know how he rides and where he rides so they will be nice and strong.

There are other guys n' shops about about and prices can vary between R250 per wheel to R650 per wheel for the labour, spokes seem to average at R20 a pop everywhere. Wheels are one of those things though that you want done right, not cheaply. Pretty annoying to find a bleed on a brake hasn't worked as you roll into the top of Tokai but to get half way down and find things are not holding up as much as they should on your hoops would be a different matter.
