Carbon Dual Sus frame

Hi hub peeps

Need help on where I can get a Carbon dual Sus frame. Non boost. Do the suppliers sell them or have last years models? Looking for something with small rear travel like the Vipa. Planning to use my Lauf in the front (I know there will be many scathing comments about doing this) I don't do major trail or other hectic stuff. I enjoy local races and long races like the Trans Baviaans. Did the Trans Elands this month and my butt objected to 160 km on rough stony gravel!

Would like a 2015/16 frame preferably with warranty. At present I might be able to get a Momsen Vipa frame 2015. How is it rated and what other options are there? Advise please!!

Leaves you plenty change for shock and any other tidbits you might need to move components over, and other upgrades while you're at it.

If you're after a big name brand frame then I'm sure others here will have some ideas, but I doubt you'll go wrong with any of these choices.

Thanks for the help. The Trigon looks interesting but I'd worry about lateral flex? I've seriously considered the FM 036 open mold frames from China but would prefer buying a frame that has local SA agents

Can't help you on their ride quality or feel,l unfortunately, but i know that on most occasions, the Chinese frames tend to be overengineered rather that thin walled. So you should be fine.

Any flex coming from the pivots or bearings are probably going to be just as much as any other name brand frame, particularly in your price bracket.

The saving on bringing it in yourself is probably not worth the comfort of having the local support and that you won't have to wait for delivery.

Cotic flare MAX , 120mm rear and its steel so should be good for really long rides.

other options include silver back siddo
