If that is all you like to spend, rather look for a normal second-hand bike and convert it into a single speed. You will have far more options as to what you can buy.

For the groupset: all you really then care about is the condition of the crank (and the brakes). The rest you will eliminate.

Usually a good option but the OP specifically wants an SS specific frame for the clean looks...

Afternoon,

 

I have been searching google  the last couple of hours.... no luck, sent a couple of mails but no response as yet...does any one have a few leads for me.

 

I like the clean look of single speed specific frame also do not want to break the bank.....5 k or so ...

What size frame are you looking for? I have a small STR frame hanging around in my garage - it's about a 17" (so more like a medium)

That is a great frame... OP, I would seriously take V12Man up on that.

If it's going to be built up with gears then it's not for sale..... as an SS - R2500.
