Mojoman Posted September 7, 2017 Posted September 7, 2017 I would like to thank Josh from Cyclist Workshop for sorting out my new Momsen bike. Been looking around for a bike for a month or so and have been shunned by various bike shops as well as private sellers (one idiot kept me hanging on for weeks for a Merida 27.5 bike...what a time waster). Seems if you don't have lots of R's you are not even worth calling back or replying to via email....Josh was recommended to me in a FB group, I messaged him, let him know what I had available (R's) and what I could maybe get. He promised to get back to me first thing the following morning and he did so. We sorted the bike payment out on the Tuesday and today I received my bike via courrier. Spent an hour or so assembling (Josh kindly set up the tubeless wheels for me) and managed to get a quick 10km ride in on my new 29er....and it feels pretty odd compared to my old 26in bike but that's another story...I will post a review of the Momsen AL129 sometime....its not the best bike out there (badge has already fallen off...an ominous sign??!!) but I think value for money it certainly holds its own....not all of us have huge budgets for bikes...
