Shebeen Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 Jamie, race the 'serious' races organised for juniors. Ride the shorter length races and act courteously and realise all the juniors are in the same boat. If Peter Sagan can be third after a lap in Rio, or whatever, you will find a way to pass. Practice a calm 'Coming passed whenever you can' , and never ever call me 'oom'. There will be revenge. unfortunately there is only 1 PSagan. I don't think what he pulled off there is possible for 99,9999% of the cyclist out there

From what I have read on here, Jamie has an even greater skill and speed differential over the back markersthan Sagz had. The point still stands though - a race for higher honours shouldn't have interference. Interference if unavoidable, will even out and if he is better than his competitors, will probably help him. Just bloody frustrating.
LeoKnight Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 was very aware of this today at the Nissan Trailseeker in Hermanus. Did not have any problem getting out of the way of the youngsters. But did anyone hear from them how it went overall?
Mr Anderson Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 was very aware of this today at the Nissan Trailseeker in Hermanus. Did not have any problem getting out of the way of the youngsters. But does anyone heard from them how it went overall?I was very aware of it as well on the single track at the start.. I was so glad when we hit the more open terrain after the water point at creation wine estate and they started to fly by.
