I see EBH bike broke and the Di Data car was following CAV... So team Sky stopped and gave him a bike to make sure he finished the stage.

 

What did the UCI do? Fine him 150 euros, which team sky DS paid this morning for EBH.

 

Sometimes sport is lekker, almost no thanks to governing bodies like UCI/CSA.

 

I was so heartened to hear of Sky's giving EBH the bike to ride. And then Eddie gets 2min penalty as well. pfft. that's bollocks!

Think the life of pro athletes is tough on a young families esp when they travel so much[emoji17]

 

But rather now than later will be worse for the child when he can realise what is going on IMO.

Normally the big guys first for so long then the next guy and so on am so on.until 2 are left.. Poels is normally the guy left with the teamleader..his turn was earlier yesterday..which is also maybe an indication that all wasn't well.

Gees just read about the first few Tour De France races.  Seems they were pretty hectic back in the day.  Proper sabotage between riders and from spectators.  Getting shot at seemed to be par for the course.  Also their diets looked pretty epic, so much of booze.

I find it rather funny that many are saying Sky's tactics are boring.... have yet to see a boring stage !!.... and we are all eagerly waiting (with withdrawal symptoms) for the next day's stage to start !!

Good to see movistar going to try again today.. 2 riders in the break Amador and Valverde sent up the road to aid later.
