Don’t waste your time on those Spez 26 Turbos, hate them, lots of punctures, your GP4000s much better

Patches, I still don't know what you did with your Turbos hey. Have ridden mine for 4000km, not one puncture, rides like a dream. Works for some, doesn't for other I suppose.

Saying that, you can't go wrong with the GP4000s, so 2 very good choices IMHO.

Totally agree haha.  Turbos on my training bike and SWorks turbo on my race bike.  Love them!

28>26>25>23.

Currently have Gatorskin 25s and GP4000S II 25s. Want to upgrade to Spez Turbo 26 for some extra plush, but can't find them anywhere. My frame can't accommodate 28s

Complete Cyclist in Bedfordview had 26's last week .

Best change I have made on my bike .

Its not just me, my riding buddy also rides rode them. He has had 7 punctures in the last 5 rides, 3 in one last week, he stripped his moer and took it in to NorthCliff and they did a 25c tubeless conversion.

The difference between 25mm and 23mm is definitely noticeable on a bike. Not only is it more comfortable (lower pressure), but the 25mm is meant to have a lower rolling resistance.

I have 25mm Conti GP 4000s on my race wheels and 25mm Gators on my training wheels. I tried fitting 28mm to my training wheels, but the 28mm Gators are considerably heavier - something I immediately noticed when accelerating...

Yes!

I recently upgraded from the Shimano RS10 wheelset that came with my bike (served me well for 7 years), running 23c GatorSkins to the 2017 Fulcrum Racing 5 LG wheelset, running 25c GP4000S II.

Aside from the wheelset being a massive improvement (weight, bearings, stiffness, etc.) the 25c wheels feel more confident and absorb a lot of the smaller vibrations. It feels faster, but it is definitely more comfortable.

But most important of all: they look better!

Does he know you shouldn't ride over the thorns/glass/metal objects? :whistling:

Jokes, but hope he has it sorted now.

Please help if someone can?

I have Fulcrum Quattro's and the inner width (according to the sticker on the rim) is 15C - I presume this means 15mm? So not sure if 25mm would fit on the 15mm?

Or are they basically only made for 23mm tyres?

I have tried Google already and also on the Fulcrum site and 2013-2014 catalogues with no luck...maybe somebody else knows where I can search?

Or should I just send a mail to FULCRUM Technical?

Was it 7 punctures in the same tyre? I had an issue with 1 fairly new GP4000 a year ago. Had regular punctures, almost every ride. Took the tyre off, scrubbed it, checked it with a light and eventually (after 6 or so punctures) just gave up and replaced it with another GP4000 and never had an issue again. Could have been something embedded in the tyre somewhere that kept rubbing the tube.

I'm now running 26mm Spez Turbos on my new bike and after ~1000km no issues.

According to Sheldon Brown's website,  a 15mm inner rim width will accommodate anything from a 23mm to 32mm safely

No, it was both front and back wheels. Definitely wasn't the same piece of debris that caused it, we found the guilty rascal each time.

Look, it could just be personal experience, but thats how opinions get formed :)
