Any one 'lost' an Anthem near Rondebosch Boys / Bishops

Just chased a very dodgy looking guy on a fairly top end Anthem 29'r right by Bishops / Rondebosch Prep'. I know it's a very subjective thing what looks dodgy and what doesn't but this guy was a about 5'6" on what looked like a large and could barely keep it upright / reach the pedals.

Gave chase but had my daughter in the car so couldn't get after him on foot and lost him in that tunnel network near the Spar / Bishops / Croquet Club.

Flagged a Police van and the local Rosebank Improvement guys so hold thumbs.

Jeewiz. Was tempted to leave the bike at the table when going for food at Origin. Everything seemed so relaxed and so many people around. One of the guys suggested rather leave it in the bike park. So ... can easily see how you get complacent and lead to negligence.

Assume you did not get the bike off him?

I didn't, was bring my 5yo back from swimming so would have been in the bad books if I'd just left her in the car and bolted after the guy in thongs (never the best running footware) and despite my wishes to be a stunt driver my double cab won't fit in those subway tunnels.

Now we all have to google ft too m to determine the height
