BUYING - Aero vs Lightweight ??

A thought regarding weight - I weigh 57kg and 500g makes a massive difference to me.  My partner is 93kg and can't really notice 500g extra.  Just something to take into consideration.

 

However as others have said, buy the bike that makes you happiest.  If the reacto is the bike that does it for you, then who cares about 500g? Go for it

If you are not a weight weenie, I would go the reacto. Far better looks

incidently here are the apparent weights:

 

Scultura 400 = +/- 8.9Kg

 

Reacto 400 = +/- 9.5kg

 

500g is not a lot of weight advantage.

unless you are a breakaway specialist or TT specialist aero is not needed.

The Reacto is such a good-looking bike, I'd go with that and convince myself of the merits of aero to justify my decision

 

+1 on spending the extra $$$ on getting carbon (Reacto 4000)
