Not looking forward to weekend anymore.  Seems that I gain weight on the weekends for no apparent reason.

Just carry on eating and training like you have been during the week?

I've saved my riding for Sundays because of traffic during the week, although I'm doing Tae Bo on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and I'm walking in between. The legs are feeling it today when I climb stairs though.

Weekends can do that. Change of routine, relaxation of discipline, availability of snacks, social events. I am just pleased with getting through a weekend without gaining weight [emoji23]

When the first thing you do after work on a Friday is not grabbing a ice cold beer anymore.. 62aed04405c5ab25c58d64d215614be8.jpg

I'm also off the beers, although I don't know how good or how bad a few Castle Lites would be.

Especially when it is so hot. Easily rack up a couple of cold ones over the weekend. I am not completely off,but trying to limit the intake.

We eat less and ride the bike or spin over weekends. I was in a 2000 calorie deficit Saturday and 1200 on Sunday and still gained weight.

Only change... breakfast is a meal (low carb and Nespresso latte) and not a shake / smoothy. So will have to measure and see where the gains comes from.

the best part about dropping a few kgs...not the fact that you feel better...you look better ...your blood test result indicate you are well  within all limits(bit of work to do on the LDL)...and yes i now have a low blood pressure issue...have to add salt to my meals  (for those who have high blood pressure) you have a ton of instagram pics from all the kms of awsome places you have stopped and taken pics of while out riding the bike...the fact that I can even tie my own shoelace.

the best part is when you walk into a shop and the guy in the tool section steps back and asks how you get to look younger...or you collect your daughter from a play date and the mother of the daughters friend walks out and ask which child you are there to collect then realizes you are the same fat guys she met a couple years...or the latest one...a lady who my wife works with asked her what it feels like to have a "new" man in her life. :)

i keep saying cycling doesnt make you loose weight...you have to change your diet to loose weight might be a false statement...after watching a video on how your body releases all that fat (breathing) ...maybe its time to get back in the hills...gets my heart rate up and breathing proper...maybe it was all the blowing out on the hills ;)

When I was weighing 105, there was a time where I had high blood pressure, so the doctor prescribed me meds for that.

As much as I enjoy cycling, I don't think it's the best exercise to lose weight. I think running is a better weight loss exercise (flame suit on). If the Chiropractor said I could carry on with running, then I would still be running. Going to see how much I can lose from Tae Bo, walking, and going for a ride on a Sunday.

i stopped taking all meds 2 years...including cholesterol...doc said it was impossible to drop LDL without pills (said it was in the genes)...blood test at the end of last year showed otherwise...much like hr...if i had to stick to the recommended 172 bpm...i would be doing slow beachfront cruises...i get cautious and back off when my hr hits 197 bpm
