Imploder Posted June 5, 2018 Share Quick question. Next weekend (16 or 17 June) we are taking some family to a lake in Austria (weather permitting) for the day. We only have 5 seats in the car and we will be 6 in total. So I will be cycling to the lake and meet the family there and then cycle back the afternoon. Would it be ok if it is considered to be a commute?You forgot the most important detail - How many km's to the lake? Joking aside, I think it would be considered a commute. Commute or not? Exactly the same. That is why I asked the question. In my book it is a commute but not sure how the rest of the crowd feels about it. It is open to abuse though.
