Be careful Myles might just try to get you to start retro roadie-ing and then lure you into his new fitness cult of heart rate monitors and thresholds. I'm waiting for the lycra and shaved pins to appear then it'll be beer intervention time.

Ja I'm worried about how readily he accepted this midlife crisis of his.

Hahaha I'll be sure not to get sucked in!

After all these years I still haven't ridden these trails. Should seriously make a plan. Maybe that could be my only NY resolution.

Yassus, I know! Been in SW for years and still haven't hit Helderberg . Funnily enough, it was a "NY resolution" for me.

Popped into Hangar Bike Co. a couple of times though. Been very impressed with the store and friendliness and willingness to help from the guys. I even had Andrew himself come up and offer assistance when I was just browsing/buying socks.

Meh you ppl make me jealous, stupid MTB out of action (pivot bolt not available having one manufactured). Adding insult to injury I havn't ridden Helderberg in 2017 at all due to "LIFE".

when is argus mtn bike weekend ?

Maybe we should do a Hub family day at Helderberg?

They have a great play area (jungle gyms for the littlies and shade) at the coffee shop, a little pump track for the mini mtn bikers, enough easy track for beginners and enough hardcore for those wanting to learn and super hardcore for those wanting to show off.

EDIT: this way we can cater for the super fit, not so fit and those of use just starting (again!), any age and the entire family.
