I suspect the 'Marvel' brand are generic components branded as Marvel for CWC to resell? Correct me if I'm wrong.

So my assumption is the carbon wheels are generics?

Not a bad price with decent hubs.  I don't think you could bring in your own wheels much cheaper...

But would be nice if a Hubber could get their hands on a pair and give us  review....

But is generic carbon wheels any lesser quality wise?

Good question.  I'm a fan of Chinese Carbon (assuming properly sourced from quality suppliers).

Many Hubbers might disagree ...

My opinion:  I don't think CWC would risk their reputation by bringing low quality items.  I would assume they have done their homework and sourced. accordingly.

Check out the Chinese Carbon thread for more debate on this.

In terms of the actual Marvel wheels themselves we will need some hands on reviews.  Or maybe CWC can post more info about them - maybe even a short video review?

Nope

Big brands break as easily as Chinese brand do.

But most 'big brand' wheels don't melt under extended braking or crack under normal riding like some chinese wheels do.

I don't think cwc would risk their reputation. They'll probably get a decent supplier, and I expect the wheels would come with a warranty.

If they poor quality, just rant on hubland and it's sure to get their attention...

No experience riding them, but seen a few sets and look like reasonable quality specced with DT Swiss hubs.

Surprisingly not tubeless ready though which seems to be the case with many wheels nowadays.
