This sign was erected yesterday(?) at the finish point of the downhill track at Little Falls / ( Helderkruin to me ). National (? ) event held here recently.....sorry , I have I problem loading the sign board pic . Anyway , no picnics, no fishing.....NO CYCLING ...ETC ( 14 banned activities ) . However , you can have walks ( without your dog ), take pictures and look through your binoculars.

I would say that sign refers general day-to-day activities.

It is a conservation area so I would think that all previous events would have needed approval from the relevant authorities.

I'm sure events will continue to be held at the location with the proper authorisation from the authorities.

Jhb parks have always supported the events - otherwise the course is not supposed to be used as it is in the middle of a park

Guess the signs are up because there are always the odd rule breakers that rides the place without appropriate permission.
