I had a big crash on hemel en aarde trial on easter monday. Completely splitting open my left knee. Just a note to thank those who stopped and assisted me. I am doing ok but recovery will take many months. Happy trials....

Glad you are doing ok and hope soon get upgraded to very good to excellent.

 

Just rode those routes today... hope sooner than later you can be back on your bike to enjoy them.

I'm not partial to seeing things that should be on the "inside of my body" on the outside. I had a cut under my nose that needed 4 stitches last year and that was bad enough (as long as I avoided mirrors I couldn't see it). A split open knee would finish me!

Seen enough blood this week ....

 

Was helping a friend in my garage on Thursday night, fixing bikes for todays ride ... tool slipped and I badly cut open my bottom lip ..... enough so that I went to the ER to have it checked out.  Walking into the ER waiting room I see a young lady in cycling clothes, all bloody .... they had an afternoon ride and she was taken out by a car driver a few blocks from home.

May i also add that the old oom Paul du Toit and Ulla from the wine shop were hugely instrumental in getting the ambulance to me. They have a close relationship to the trials. Big thanks to them too
