Someone mentioned one of those sayings to me the other day - I think we were talking about long runs, anyway it was JOMO - like FOMO (fear of missing out), but this time its JOY of missing out!

I won't lie, right now, I'm having JOMO with ironman.

When we go ride the Cradle on weekends and are busy packing up, its so easy to spot the guys busy restocking and heading out for their second/third lap and I know they're only half way through a 160km or so ordeal. Blazing heat, wind, boredom, etc etc.

On the day I'm sure I'll feel bleak watching it on TV, but right now I'm pretty happy missing out this year.

Last year i saw a woman holding up a board say "104.6 till i get my husband back!!"

I think this time of the year the word "Ironman" becomes a curse word in many a household.

I'm gatvol of the training, wish it was this weekend already.

Dave you and I are usually on zwift the same times in the evenings. What ever happens it'll be a long day and it'll all be worth it at the finish line

There's nothing like running down that red carpet to the sound of "YOU ARE AN IRONMAN!"
