Hey guys

I'm trying to add volume spacers to my rear shock monarch plus, but it's off a specialized so there's the proprietary autosag unit on the shock and for the life of me can't figure out how to remove the Aircan

I can see the O ring that needs to come out but it's snug under the autosag part

Any help will be greatly appreciated

I took the valve off (thanks) but the Aircan hardly twists so must be the O ring. I've tried taking it off with a make shift pick but can you see how it's wedged under there, it's impossible to get to

Update: Got O ring out (wife had an actual pick)

Still can't twist the can off though

Twisting anticlockwise, all the air completely out the can etc...

Shot for this, need to service mine too, with autosag thingy.

Will do soon

dude it's  a huuuuuuuge mission

do above like mentioned, but then the positive chamber comes clean off with the air canister, and the autosag connection seals it on and cant be removed (tried everything)

Going to ask a pro tomorrow and will keep you posted

Remove the o ring, then you can slide the entire autosag assembly off over the end of the can.

The rest is easy.

hi I'm trying to do this on mine, managed to unscrew the whole assembly but cannot separate the auto sag from the can. god knows how you fit volume spacers in this as it looks like you cant even take the can off on this model, is this the case? thx

Also trying now to remove the autosag off my shock, read the manual,as droo has suggested on many other threads.

Released the air, removed the valve core, took off the O-ring holding the autosag ring on, but cant get the ring off, slides about half way off and then it stops, dont want to apply to much force so it doesn't get damaged, any advice?

Stickers, the mother heffing stickers, that is why it does not come off...

That extra 0.5mm is what makes the difference...

Guys, need your help. I am also trying to add volume spacers but this shox is wired.

On it there is Monarch plus RC3 and according to this, we should use this reducers - https://forums.mtbr.com/attachments/ibis/1017250d1442951673-2016-monarch-plus-rc3-hd3-img_8809.jpg

I took off the can (remove oring below autosag, then move it a little bit down, and then unscrew the can.

and what I saw is (picture attached), did not fit with dedicated monarch plus rc3 tokens.

It looks like more delux plus - https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0349/7357/products/RS6830_c356c4f3-6acb-4ff4-b118-9830123efb0c_grande.jpg?v=1587631019

so what is going on here? I can not find answer anywhere, even in user manual. This Specialized autosag shox are solo air right?

Which air reducer did you put there?
