Isn't neoprene overkill? They don't breathe, so your feet sweat and then it gets $%^&*cold !

Why not layer toe caps, belgian booties and a light bootie? Works for hands, should work for feet too!

Richard Beswick reviewed Sealskin socks and gloves a few years ago. He even dunked his hand in water and he still said it's fine.

I like the look and feel BBB and PRO booties. I've got neprene toe caps but my ankles also gets cold.

The Sealskins are great. The current version have a more woolly sock type liner, although I still wear them with an additional thin sock. In the UK they are the reason why I had designated winter fit shoes, 1 size bigger than normal. Toasty feet and comfortable fit = a very happy cyclist Smile

With any of this stuff the only real problem is water seeping in as it runs down your leg.... kind hard to overcome that particular 'design fault' with any of the currently available options

Cut the corner off a plastic bag and put your toes into the little triangle then inside your shoes, you feet still breath and the windchill throught the front of your shoes is cut out.
