It’s a proper hotty, but he should have bought my C60. Would have gotten “ma tjyna” discount.

If the transaction took place in Cape Town wouldn’t it be a “my boois” discount?

Yes, the race was sanctioned and his girlfriend is busy with CSA. Problem is that from the understanding this can be a lengthy process.

You claim directly with Hollard. I put in a claim last year and was paid out in 2 days. Nothing lengthy.

Good luck with the recovery, my anecdotal experience tells me that positive frame of mind is the most powerful tool you have.

Show us some x-rays!

So this was while the exfix was still in and before I had a titanium nail fitted

Sounds like we should go for a peninsula ride next week, will be the only time that I could actually keep up with you!

I doubt I can make it to chappies yet. Never mind around the point

We give you our best wishes and you dont even share your new bike pic with us :P

You can take it for a spin when I'm fit enough to ride with you again

I still haven't gotten to sorting out that claim.

Voorspoed Robert.

Enjoy the new bike and see you on the road.

Ps: what's happening with a case against the driver?

The driver opened the case. I gave my details once I got out of hospital. I haven't heard anything since then.

Strange. There was a form I filled out from Hollard. Attached medical bills and 2 days later had money in my account.

Pm me if you want any details.

Hi Guys.

I just found this post and I really appreciate the support and advice. Luckily being a road accident. All the medical bills don't come to me. They go straight to the road accident fund. The crash was just under 3 months ago and today the doctor says I still have another 3 months of recovery to go.

Thanks again all.

Go to hear you are one the mend!

How did you get the road accident fund to pay the hospital directly, I thought claiming from the Raf took forever and getting actually paid out can take years?

You ride that bike but you don't have medical aid?!?!?!

Madness...

I really hope the recovery goes well and I'm sorry for your accident, but medical aid should be an absolute no-brainer unless you really can't afford it.

Ok I'd check up on that if I were you. I wouldn't trust the driver to give a truthful account of the incident

The RAF has a department in the hospital. All the invoices go straight to them.

Agreed. Fun story. The papers were filled out and signed. I was planning on sending them in that Monday. I am on med aid now.
