Will be the first time me and the missus will be teaming up! Entered as a mixed team of two for this ENDURANCE race.. Can't wait! Have never done this event, but all the videos and photos they post it looks like a lot of fun! We have set ourselves a target of 15 laps(Probably 10 from me and 5 from her). That gives us time to watch the Springboks vs All Blacks game on the bigscreen inside the beertent, to klap a few, and to sleep a few hours. But if we see we are close to a podium spot we might just push a bit harder!

Thanks to the organizers, excellent event, as usual.

Just one thing regarding the course/route. Since I last did the event in 2016 there was a wide gravel road/track at the bottom of the decent from the Boma that lead to the start of the second climb. This year it was replaced by a single track.

As much as we all love to ride single track, on an event like this you need a few places that allow for passing, or being passed. The dirt track allowed for overtaking, where as the single track does not. I'm sure riders would much rather ride on a wider path for a section that allows passing without them having to pull over and stop.

Just my 2c, use it, don't use it.

What a fun race!! I'm already putting it on the calendar for next year! We managed second place in the mixed team of 2 category with a total of 17 laps..just couldn't keep up to the CannonWorks team during the night shift. Our strategy sucked.. We still beat our target of 15 laps (11 laps from me and 6 from my wife).

Unishaun, that was something else to see you on the trails with the unicycle! Well done man!! 60km on one wheel, that's just crazy!
