City and Arsenal losing and Saints winning.

can’t remember when last that happened.

cost me a bit at William hill. 😢

Definitely didn't see those results coming either

Managed to get some tickets for the saints Chelsea game. Now, these days to get premiership tickets is a mission of note, one has to be a member of the club, have gone to certain number of games in the past etc etc. so easy enough for me to get tickets for myself but my mate and his son are Chelsea supporters and not members so not really possible to get tickets.

luckily I managed to get some, his lad gonna be so excited. Damn. Makes me excited.

of course he won’t be able to wear the Chelsea kit and stifle his enthusiasm should Chelsea score but it’s gonna be Lekker evening out.

Getting tickets to premiership games these days is nigh on impossible for the man in the street unless he is a member of club which comes at a cost and has been to a certain number of games in the past. Most clubs work on a points system these days too. No longer working man’s game.

you either buy through resellers or buy hospitality tickets, both options cost mega money.

Excellent stuff bruh, how brilliant.  Even 18 and 21 years ago I found it impossible to get tickets.

For the big clubs even membership is no guarantee these days. It’s just crazy and frustrating for the everyday fan. You either spend large to get on the club treadmills with membership fees and games attended or season tickets or go via resellers.

You not even guaranteed of getting a season ticket these days as a rank outsider. In fact you won’t get a season ticket for the big clubs without history with a club no matter how much you throw at it unless you buy a hospitality season ticket. That would be around 8 grand minimum for the cheapest I reckon. So a cool 400 quid a game but you would get a meal and a few drinks too. Nice way to go to football if you can afford it.

Man City lose again…I watched their champions league game and it was ugly.

ole Pep has set a new record losing 4 in a row. Quite astounding it has never happened to him before.

some good games today. Chelsea Arsenal the biggie. But the Forest Newcastle game I think is the most interesting. Forest have been a revelation this season, Newcastle going a bit cold. Lots of talk of the special one coming to Newcastle so Eddie under pressure.

had a big ( big in my parlance) win on the Brentford game yesterday after they went down a tenner paid 58.  And Farnborough turned a 2 game losing streak around against Slough town.

Forest's owners have big plans for their clubs, as evidenced by them employing Arsenal's excellent sporting director Edu.

Manager must be under pressure.

Of course the manager does come under pressure unfortunately, sometimes.

But, I believe the coaching system/staff should be taking a long hard look at themselves. The game today is tactical - why then doesn't it show on the field... Poor set piece performance can be coached, but it still doesn't show/improve. Hard for me to believe its the players. If the manager doesn't improve his coaching system, then that's when he comes under pressure.

Change the coaching = Change the tactical aptitude! Simple

Most certainly agreed.  Big Ange's awkward and defensive response, a couple of months ago, in saying that they're not paying more attention to set pieces was a major tell.

Any thoughts about ref David Coote's comments about Klopp?  I've said similar comments about a couple of business rivals who made it personal and also played dirty.

Some are saying he can never ref in England again, but I don't see why that should be the case.  His mate stitched him up horribly in posting that video.

Big news here. We expect refs to be impartial but they normal folks and have normal feelings and thoughts. Not watched the video but if real the man should have known better.

Klopp is/was a brat on occasion, as is Arteta and pep for that matter. No decorum at times. Not good examples even if successful.
