"I find it unpleasant to judge players on the pitch, that's why I don't do any TV punditry work.  I see colleagues who couldn't complete 3 dribbles condemn players on air." - Roberto Baggio, 2 days ago

Who could that be?

Dude will forever be remembered for that penalty. That’s his legacy. Sad innit.

"I will never forget it. That was a childhood dream come true, and it ended in the most absurd fashion and I never got over it."

"I still dream about it. If I could erase a moment from my career, it would be that one.  I had a thousand opportunities to miss a penalty in my career, that was the one I really couldn’t miss."

"What is sometimes forgotten is that even if I had scored, Brazil could still have won with the last penalty because before me Baresi and Massaro had both missed."

"I failed that time.  Period.  And it affected me for years."

I'll not forget his extraordinary skills, or his class.

Yes, it’s sad that he was singled out for the loss. Totally unfair and he was lambasted and castigated back in Italy. And still is.

It's the world we live in, unfortunately.

Let's be honest, Baggio's whole career was blemished by that penalty miss and yet up until then, he was an ambassador material for Italy and Juve...

Things not looking so rosy down the road at Stamford Bridge.... Maresca being questioned on letting Gallagher go, to bring in Joao Felix, then letting Felix go a few months later...

Hhhhhmmmm...

.. even at Goodison Park! Lol

Makes that 98th minute equaliser so much sweeter, I'm sure.  What a match, entertainment +++.  Excellent workup, Mr Moyes.

PS.  Even listening to "uhhh" Weeyo Ferdinand on TNT did not take the shine off that Goodison Park finale.

Dearie me, Liverpool fans from all corners doing a collective misplacing of marbles routine.  Lifespans have been shortened.  They're even worse than me and my fellow gooners.  😂

(nah, I never lose my rag)

🤯🤯

Whatsabet his mum kicks him out, or confiscates his greenscreen.
