He definitely kept PSG in the game. He's been brilliant throughout the knockout stages.

Let's not forget, PSG finished 15th in the qualifying league stage of this CL, with only 13th points from 8 matches. So they've definitely improved.

FWIW, Arsenal xG last night was 3.14.  19 shots (only 4 on target), PSG 11 (6).  Corners 6, PSG 2.  Donnarumma definitely kept them winning.  There were two more top notch saves by him besides saving that remarkable Ødegaard bullet.

Big fail imo, Arteta had no Plan B.

Looking forward to the final….think it’s gonna be loaded with needle.

been reading about the sudden jump in pricing for accommodation, some sources saying prices jumped up 50 fold. Disgusting.

my big spurs mate and I gonna meet in the pub and watch, looking forward to it

I'm still pondering....

How presumptuous of Spurs to have requested a change in date for the Villa game prior to the final... or is it?

We're the club that convinced they would be in the final? Or was it good preparation?

Anyway, I hope they do everything to give Ange and the boys every chance to land this Cup. Maintain Ange's record, appease the fanbase, give Daniel Levy some breathing space, show they club's support for progress on the pitch, etc, etc....

We have to go into this match forgetting about having beaten ManU in all of the past 4 matches. This one begins and ends on 21st May. That's it! A once-off!

If Harry Kane can win a trophy, surely Spurs ca as well. COYS

And a team either 15th or 16th in the premiership will be in champs league next season.

Sunday, off to Wembley I go with my 3 lads. Unlikely we will ever all 4 go to a final again so going to make the most of it. First game kick off at 12:15 and then the Aldershot game at 16:15. Gonna be a few hours to kill in the concourse guzzling overpriced pints.

BUT, it’s going to be wembley and I aim to get to stadium a lil earlier and just take it all in. Aldershot have sold an incredible 18000 tickets. And a few days left for stragglers so I estimate Aldershot will take 20 000. About as much as the other 3 teams combined I reckon. With a few neutrals it’s likely to be around 45000 ppl….gonna be epic. A Luvvly jubbly day in the sun appreciating football at grassroots level. All four teams have never been in a final before so all the play for and memories to be made.

how cool is this. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cwy0ym04rz1o

Aldershot game is being televised here , might be shown on DSTV too.

It could also have been a team finishing 7th, winning the FA Cup, and thereby qualifying.

So, the opportunity exists, according to the rules, that the winner of Europa League automatically qualifies for Champions League - irrespective of league standing.

In saying that, imagine Aldershot having won the FA Cup. Would they be ridiculed for not even being in the Premier League..... Hhhhhmmmm 🤔

Anyway, I'm not bothered by League standings. It's not relevant. Not even Arsene Wenger's comments.... although it makes sense to revisit the qualifying criteria in future.

Both sides would arguably be there on merit so it’s not a train-smash really in my opinion.

there will always be these kind of scenarios.

saints in 1976, second division side, beating Bayern in the champions league final, now there is a dream.

Football in the trenches dreams of making the 3rd round FA cup and pulling an Arsenal or Chelsea to a ground….. never mind a final

I'm not sure which is a worse result in the Premier League this season....

Spurs losing against Ipswich, or Man City draw against Saints....

Barca vs Madrid - The Sequel 2024-25

6 goals scored in the first half. That's just insane!!!

Barcelona have conceded 16 goals in their last 7 matches and won 6. Incredible.
