That relates to R40 per 100' date='000 you borrowed extra

[/quote']

Sounds lovely when put that way

So make that an extra R600 on your 1.5mill house, couple of hundred on your OD, couple more on your CC(s)

couple of hundred on your car(s)

Suddenly you are R1000+- worse off per month, this has happened 6 times in the last 18 months

Where did the extra R5000-R6000 you are paying come from?

So' date=' was mr tito's " 2 % " just a scare-tactic or is it only me that does not understand this crap.  Coming down from a almost certain 2 to .5 ? [/quote']

when tito hinted at 2% hike then everyone was pulling brakes biiiiigtime!!!

Acting dumb again as this makes me feel.   Why not then continue with the 2 or even 1 and let us pull the brakes even further, than come down to .5, and now we can go phew, its only 40 on 100,000.  I would say shock it and get it over with ?

What makes these interest hikes worse, is that economists have a term for what's happening. It comes down to legalized stealing from the public.I read in a newspaper that the reserve bank uses the hikes to top up state coffers.

Clever by Tito, he managed to get everyone giving high five's after the good news of a .5 % hike, last time the same hike got everyone crying! I will now buy a new bike with the extra 750 per month i save thanks to Tito! hows that for effectively curbing spending!

I don't know if the 0.5% hike was a smart move?Shocked

If the rand weakens to the dollar it will affect the petrol and food prices, might affect the poor more than another 0.5% hike. SA does more imports than exports.

Let's hope the rand holds up.Thumbs%20Up
